What verified means
Every settled bet on a public record falls into one of three tiers.
- Tracked live: the bet was logged in the OddsHub Terminal before kickoff, and OddsHub graded the result itself, recording the closing price where one was captured.
- Odds-verified: the bet was logged after the fact, but OddsHub matched it to a real market and confirmed the closing price and the settlement against its own data. OddsHub does not verify the price the user got.
- Imported or manual: the bet could not be matched to a market OddsHub tracks, or it was edited after settlement, so the numbers are taken on trust.
OddsHub verifies results and closing prices. It does not verify that a bet was placed at a bookmaker, or the price the user reports getting. Verified bets are system-settled by OddsHub. Imported or manually graded bets stay in the record, clearly labeled. Any edit to a settled bet's odds, stake, result, or closing price moves that bet to the imported or manual tier.
Bets imported from a spreadsheet keep the results they came in with and stay in the imported or manual tier. Verification is earned by tracking bets in OddsHub, not by importing a history.
How it works
Track your bets in the OddsHub Terminal, or import a history from elsewhere. Then publish a handle from the Results tab in My Bets to get a public record at oddshub.io/u/handle, plus a badge you can embed anywhere. Stakes on a public record are normalized to your average risked stake, so the record reads the same regardless of what you actually staked, and currency is never shown.
Search and discovery
A record becomes eligible for search indexing once it has 50 settled bets and 30 days of history. Smaller records stay reachable at their link and badge, but are not indexed until they clear that bar.
Frequently asked questions
- What does the verification mark require?
- A record earns the verified mark once it has at least one settled bet at the Tracked live or Odds-verified tier. Imported or manually graded bets alone do not qualify.
- Can records be edited after the fact?
- Yes, but editing a settled bet's odds, stake, result, or closing price moves that bet to the imported or manual tier. Verified history cannot be altered after the fact.
- What are the units on a public record?
- Stakes are normalized to the record's average risked stake, so every bet shows as a multiple of a single unit. Currency is never shown.
- When do profiles appear in search?
- A record becomes eligible for search indexing once it has 50 settled bets and 30 days of history. Smaller records stay live at their link but are not indexed.
