OddsHub is a sports data service

OddsHub is a sports data and analytics service run by Outlier AS. We show odds, prices and market data. We are not a gambling operator. We do not take bets, hold funds or offer gambling of any kind, and we are not paid by bookmakers.

Some people who use OddsHub also bet with bookmakers. This page is for them: how to spot when betting is becoming a problem, the tools that help, and where to find free support.

18+ only

OddsHub is for adults aged 18 or over, or older where your local law sets a higher age for betting-related content. Betting under the legal age is illegal, and licensed bookmakers check your age.

If you bet with a bookmaker

Data can help you understand a market. It does not make betting safe. No price, tool or strategy guarantees a profit, and most people who bet lose money over time. Only bet money you can afford to lose, and never bet to win back what you have lost.

Warning signs

It may be time to stop or get help if you:

  • bet more than you planned, or more than you can afford
  • chase losses with bigger or more frequent bets
  • borrow money, sell things or miss bills to keep betting
  • hide your betting from family or friends, or lie about it
  • feel restless, anxious or irritable when you try to cut down
  • think about betting most of the day, or bet to escape stress or low mood
  • let betting get in the way of work, study, sleep or relationships

One of these on its own does not mean you have a problem. Several of them, or any that keep coming back, are a good reason to talk to someone.

Tools that help

  • Deposit and loss limits. Licensed bookmakers let you cap how much you deposit or lose per day, week or month. Set the limit before you start, not after a bad run.
  • Time-outs. Most bookmakers offer a short break, from a day to several weeks, that locks your account until it ends.
  • Self-exclusion. This closes your account for months or years and cannot be undone early. Look in your bookmaker's account or responsible gambling settings, or ask their support team.
  • UK: GAMSTOP. One free sign-up blocks you from every online gambling site and app licensed in Great Britain, for 6 months, 1 year or 5 years. gamstop.co.uk
  • Norway: Norsk Tipping. Players can set spending limits, take a spillepause (a break from play) or close their access to some or all games. norsk-tipping.no/spillevett
  • Blocking software. Apps such as Gamban block gambling sites and apps on your phone and computer, across all bookmakers at once.
